The whole catalogue of the Chamber of Deputies' Library can be browsed on line from the combined catalogue access point of the Joint Parliamentary Library. This point enables visitors to:

• - perform a simple word-based search to browse the catalogues of the Chamber's Library and the Senate library (from 1994) at the same time;
• - perform a more advanced search on a single catalogue, or inside it, on particular types of reading material or holdings of particular interest or reading rooms.

All the holdings acquired since the Library was opened in 1848 are listed in the Library catalogue. Data are updated every day.
A directory of New accessions is published every month.

The combined access point allows visitors to consult images of the historic catalogues of the two Libraries and a selection of the bibliographic sources.
